Floral | A Lutsen Minnesota Wedding
when best friends fall in love
It is such an honor to be sharing this wedding with you today. Not only were these bouquets of my favorite floral combinations I've put together since I started my business, these two lovely people happen to be best friends of mine. We all met in the College of Design at Iowa State and I'm so glad we all made it through together.
David and Kat clicked from day one, and while their relationship grew through the years I think most of us in the program knew this day would come.
After college David and Kat moved to Denver, Colorado with their precious pup Bella. However, they missed us, or so I tell myself, so they moved back to the Midwest. After they moved back to Minnesota it wasn't long before He popped THE question with an adorable black lab pup, Koda, and a gorgeous ring.
I was honored to stand beside Kat as her Matron of Honor, as well as design the florals for her special day. Designing any piece of your best friend's wedding is incredibly humbling and although the stress to make things perfect doubles (at least) I was so honored to have such a beautiful role in completing her vision.
I also have to add that they got the most incredible wedding portrait as the waves on Lake Michigan crashed on the shore (and totally soaked both Kat and David), they agreed it was totally worth it.
Congrats to my two incredible friends, I love you.
